I think the book “Island of
the Blue Dolphins” is really a good book that it tells us many things about our
life.
Everything was wonderful
until the Aleut ship came to this place. The Captain Orlov hoped he and his
Aleut hunters could live here for some months and the Chief of the village of
Ghalas-at promised them and also made a deal with them that they had to pay for
the otter they killed. But, one day when the Aleuts left, they did not observe
the deal that they had made.
Though Karana left the
island, she still had a good memory of it.
So instead of filling our heart with hatred and being a bitter
man, try to forgive and hold a positive attitude to clear up the difficulties.
It will surely make our life more joyful. Karana did it in the story, and so
can we. It is safe to say that the less complaint and hatred we have, the
happier people we will be.
