💭Reflection:
It's a classic fiction wrote by Jane Austen. The two leading role of this fiction are Mrs. Dashwood's daughters, Elinor and Marianne. Although they are sisters of the same blood, sometimes the Dashwood girls do not seem like sisters at all. Elinor is all calmness and reason, and can be relied upon for practical, common sense opinions. Marianne, on the other hand, is all sensibility, full of passionate and romantic feeling.
In this fiction, Jane Austen put a lot of ink in love. Elinor and Marianne believed that true love can only be felt by young, but once your heart is broken at the age of seventeen, how can you ever expect to recover from the passionate misery that fills your life, waking and sleeping?
I think it's the most charming part of this fiction, which described the difference reaction of Elinor and Marianne when their relationship went wrong, either the rational behaviors or the sensate behaviors are depicted so vivid, as I'm a bystander in the story.
In the end, neither sense nor sensibility can solve the problems in girls' heart, but a faith that trusts there's always something meant to happen, which can lead you get the right and suitable place, and usually by an unexpected road.
After reading sense and sensibility, I felt so much peace in my heart, since there's nothing but hope in life, as Ernest Hemingway says, "We are all broken, that's how the light gets in." No matter what attitude you face your life, keep the faith alive is the only core to reach what you dreamed to have, and deserved to have.
